Okay. One take lang 'tong write-up na 'to. Hindi ko 'to aayusin or ipapalinis kay AI. I will write by whatever comes to mind. Feel free to follow my train of thoughts.
I was supposed to write this on Threads, pero dahil medyo ang daming pumapasok sa isip ko at ayokong mag-take ng time to clean it up and be "Threads-friendly," I decided to write here. Tagal ko na rin namang hindi nakapagsulat so, there you go.
Okay. So I started by writing:
The problem is, the system is so corrupted that you look at the government and say—"wala eh, ganyan na talaga"—which is both sad and frustrating at the same time. Gusto mong may mangyari, kaso ano namang magagawa ng isang boto mo kung ang kalaban mo eh yung majority na "woke" pero "bulag" at the same time.
The majority votes for those who are well-spoken, famous, and rich. Not those who have proven track records of actually accomplishing something for the public good.
Politicians are supposed to be public servants—they serve the public, not the other way around. But it's more fun in the Philippines, that exact opposite thing is what happens most of the time. People cannot seem to distinguish the likes of Leni and her late husband, Vico, and even the late Miriam Defensor-Santiago.
For sure people are gonna come at me for saying that, but it is what it is.
Filipinos all want a good life. But not every one is willing to take the time to know and understand the reality. The same people who will get angry at ghost flood control projects are the ones who will also keep on voting for their corrupt politician.
Parang, "okay lang kayo?"
When I think of the government, the two words that come to mind are: dogshow and circus.
Eme. And to think pang-ilan siya sa ranking nun. Lalo na yung bespren nyang si idol. Iba talaga. Ganun.
The sad reality is, the Philippines won't change unless people become sober.
But soberness can only come from God. Because God is truth—aletheia—reality.
Akala mo about pulitika lang 'tong blog na 'to 'no. Nope. Of course it's gonna come back to God. Because at the end of it all, I firmly believe that no matter who sits on the government, Jesus is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He puts people in their position and is sovereign above all.
Romas 13:1 says,
Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.
That's why I will keep on submitting to the government and will not participate in rallies o kung ano pa man.
I know where I stand and that's where I'll stay.
I honestly think that if public spaces here in the PH were like parks sa ibang mga bansa, more people would be healthier.
So ayun lang. Kung binasa mo 'to hanggang dito, salamat? Comment ka kung anong iniisip mo. Pero kung makikipag-away ka lang, 'wag na. Di-delete ko lang comment mo.
